UBTEB conducts Inspection of Real Life Projects for National Certificates-Technical

In line with the mandate of UBTEB in conducting competence based assessment, the Board carries out regular inspection of Real Life Projects at institutional level across the country. Real Life Projects are tasks carried out by students pursuing different academic engineering and other academic disciplines. These projects may include construction of houses in a community or at training institutions, preparation of electrical installations and fashion designs among others.The activity started on 24th July 2018 for a period 12 days.

A team of professionals and experts are visiting different institutions to look at projects being done by students and their progress in line with the relevant curricular. This is a big boost towards production of competent, skilled and innovative graduates that meet the world of work demands.

"The Board is pleased to carry out the inspection of real life projects in order to establish the level of acquisition of hands on skills as part of assessment by the Board" Onesmus Oyesigye, Executive Secretary stated.

The Board appreciates the role played by training institutions in supervising the works done by students and lecturers.
