Reconnoiters urged to keep integrity in conduct of examinations

The Executive Secretary, Onesmus Oyesigye (CPA), has applauded the Reconnoiters who participated in the conduct of first phase of UBTEB examinations that ended on 2nd December 2022. He informed the participants that the Board's activities are critical and should be given the top priority and handled with the highest level of integrity. This was during the briefing of Reconnoiters at Public Health Nurses College, Kyambogo. "The nature of our examinations calls for paying utmost vigilance to make sure that the conduct is done in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Board," Oyesigye stated.

According to the rules and regulations, the Reconnoiters' roles include overseeing the conduct of examinations at a particular examination centre and above all ensuring safety of the examinations at storage facilities. The Executive Secretary called upon the Reconnoiters to work as a team for succesful conduct of examinations. "We encourage you to work with Heads of Centres and other examinations Managers.This will ensure coordination and efficiency in conducting examinations" Oyesigye stated.

We aim to improve in our processes and this can be made possible by writing reports for our analysis after conduct of examinations.

While briefing the Reconnoiters, the Deputy Executive Secretary-Examinations Management, Dr.Nahamya Wilfred, urged the Reconnoiters to take note of the candidates with special needs. "I argue you to record the nature of the disability of candidates with Special needs for better planning purposes by the Board," Nahamya stated.

The Executive Secretary ended by wishing the participants a merry Christmas and a happy new year 2023.
