Oyesigye is a Certified Public Accountant by Profession. He is the Executive Secretary of

Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB). His overall responsibilities

include; providing the overall strategic leadership and management of the Secretariat and support

the Board to accomplish its objectives by bringing systematic and disciplined approach to

evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Oyesigye has served as a Senior Manager at various levels. He served as the Deputy Executive

Secretary-Finance, Human Resource and Administration (June 2012- June 2016) and Acting

Executive Secretary of UBTEB (June 2015-April 2016). Oyesigye worked as the Project

Regional Accountant at Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), a project funded by World

Bank, African Development Bank, European Union and Japan Association-JICA(2008- 2012).

He also served as Head Accounts and Finance in the President’s Office (1991- 2008). Oyesigye

holds a Masters degree in Business Management from Uganda Management Institute, Bachelor

of Commerce degree from Makerere University. He holds a Diploma in Business Studies from

National College of Business Studies Nakawa (Currently Makerere University Business School-

MUBS).
