Ubteb Issues Road Map For The Conduct Of July August 2024 Examinations

In accordance with Section 8 Clause 10 of UBTEB Regulations 2019, the Board issued circular No.3 of 2024 to Heads of Centres concerning the conduct of registration of candidates for the July-August 2024 examinations series.
The Board is pleased to inform all candidates and their parents/guardians that the normal registration exercise for the July-August 20214 examinations series shall commence on June 10, 2024 and end on July 5, 2024.
According to the circular, the candidates to register shall include those undertaking the programmes include; Technical and Vocational Diplomas, Certificate-Biomedical Engineering, Diploma Physical and Biological Sciences & Diploma and Certificate-Business, Humanities and Cooperatives.
The candidates are encouraged to pay registration fees using the school pay platform. The Board has developed manuals on the process of online registration and making payments which ca be accessed on the website and other official online platforms.
In addition to registration dates, the Board encourages all Heads of centres to note important dates for key tasks highlighted in the circular such as marking of real-life projects, submission of course work marks, monitoring of industrial training among others.
The Board shall in due course provide a draft timetable with proposed dates of the conduct of examinations starting on 9th August to 30th August 2024. The Board further appeals to all Heads of centres to pay special attention to registration of candidates with special needs in order to enable the Board to prepare sufficient manpower and other resources required for the conduct of examinations for this category of candidates.
“ We encourage all candidates to ensure that they register on time to avoid surcharge due to late registration and other inconveniences.” Executive Secretary Onesmus Oyesigye(CPA) emphasised.
He added that cases of registration beyond the deadline shall not be entertained since the EIMS shall automatically close on the exact date of closing of the candidates’ registration exercise.
